Use a lint free damp cloth or magic eraser to remove challk.
Store your markers standing up with the cap up.
Do not store in direct sunlight.
If the ink is runny, shake the marker vigorously to mix the pigment. You should hear a rattle in the marker, if you can't hear it bang the end of the marker on a solid suface to disclodge it and shake. Avoid pumping the nib if possible.
If you're not sure how the ink will react with your board, do a spot test by picking a small corner, Place a small dot of ink, allow it to dry and then erase.
