Q. How do the planners work?
A. Here’s an article that has the ins and outs of our reusable planners.
Q. What size are the planners?
A. We have a variety or size options available:
- Extra Small – 210x297mm (A4)
- Small – 297x420mm (A3)
- Slimline – 30x70cm
- Square – 50x50cm
- Medium – 50x70cm
- Large – 60x90cm
Q. What colour frames are available?
- Natural wood
Q. Are the planners magnetic boards?
A. No, unfortunately the planners are not magnetic. However, our laminated planners have a magnet on the backside so they can be hung on the fridge. Magnets can be used over the top of the planner if desired.
Q. What can I use to write on my planner?
A. We strongly recommend using liquid chalk markers on all of our reusable planners.
Liquid chalk is water-based, non-toxic and dust-free making it safe for the whole family to use.
Q. Can I use whiteboard markers to write on my planner?
A. We don’t recommend using whiteboard markers on our laminated planners. The reason for this is that they leave behind residue that can not alway be cleaned off. Whiteboard markers are also not opaque which will make the writing hard to see, particularly on a dark background.
The good news is that you can use whiteboard markers on glass.
We always use liquid chalk on our planners.
Q. Can I use liquid chalk on chalkboards?
A. Yes you can. Please head to the Versa Chalk website for more information on how to prepare and clean your chalkboard. There are some great blogs on chalkboard 101 to help you get started.
Note: this has not been tested by Organising Life Beautifully as we do not offer chalkboards in our range.
Q. How long do liquid chalk markers last?
A. The longevity of your markers will depend on how often you use them and how they are stored when not in use. If your markers are cared for, they should last between from 6-12 months.
Always store your markers with the cap up, this stops the nib from being saturated and wasting the chalk. If the nib gets fluffy, you can reverse the nib.
Q. How do I hang my planner?
A. Please make sure you use a hook that will take the weight of the framed planner you have purchased. Always opt for a stronger option if you’re unsure.
We strongly recommend using the saw hook located on the reverse side of the frame. This will take the weight of the planner. For safety and stability we recommend using double sided velcro (pictured) on the corners of the frame. This will stop the planner form moving around when you’re writing or cleaning and will add some protection if the planners is accidentally knocked.
Q. How do I clean my planner?
A. For laminated planners, all you need is a damp cloth.
For glass framed planners we use glass cleaner such as Windex and paper towel.
Spray water or cleaning product onto the cloth rather than directly onto the planner.
When cleaning use a scooping motion to pick up the chalk. If you rub the chalk, like your cleaning window, it will smudge and make a mess.
If you find a stubborn spot, we recommend using a microfibre cloth or a magic cleaning sponge.
Q. Where do you ship to?
A. We ship worldwide through Australia Post.
Unfortunately we are unable to ship framed planners larger that A3 (297x420mm). This is due to the high chance of breakage. We apologise for the inconvenience and invite you to consider one of the other purchase options available for your selected product.
